Rural USA has seen tremendous growth since 2020. According to Fannie May economist Kevin Park, “application activity for housing in rural and non-metropolitan areas rose 80 percent since the start of the pandemic.”
Rural philanthropy provides valuable, essential services to the heartland. In this white paper, I propose that stronger collaboration with community foundations is needed to advance our rural philanthropic leadership.
